Season 4 of “Bridgerton” is set to focus on Benedict Bridgerton’s romantic journey, drawing inspiration from Julia Quinn’s novel “An Offer From a Gentleman.” In this season, Benedict, portrayed by Luke Thompson, encounters Sophie Baek, a resourceful maid who disguises herself to attend a masquerade ball hosted by the Bridgerton family. Their meeting sparks a Cinderella-esque romance, with Sophie striving to overcome societal obstacles to be with Benedict.

Yerin Ha joins the cast as Sophie Baek, marking a significant casting choice that honors Ha’s Korean heritage. This adaptation introduces new characters, including Sophie’s stepfamily—Lady Araminta Gun and her daughters, Rosamund and Posy Li—adding depth to the storyline.
Returning characters such as Anthony and Kate Bridgerton, portrayed by Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley respectively, will continue to develop their narratives. Additionally, the season will provide more insight into “downstairs” characters, offering a broader perspective of the Bridgerton world.
Production for Season 4 is currently underway, with filming taking place in London. The premiere is anticipated in 2026.
