Resident Evil: Damnation (2012) is an animated action-horror film set in the Resident Evil universe. The story follows Leon S. Kennedy, who is sent on a mission to Eastern Europe to investigate the use of bio-organic weapons (BOWs) in the region.
Upon arrival, he discovers that a civil war is being fought using these dangerous weapons, and the government is secretly deploying them against its own citizens.
Leon works to stop the conflict and uncover the truth behind the use of BOWs, including the creation of a new weapon called the “Uroboros” virus. Along the way, he faces off against mutant creatures, corrupt political figures, and encounters Ada Wong, a mysterious woman with her own agenda. As Leon tries to prevent a global catastrophe, he must confront both the horrors of bio-terrorism and his own past.
The film combines intense action sequences, survival horror elements, and a deepening of the Resident Evil lore, particularly the dangerous consequences of bio-weapons in the wrong hands.
