Pocahontas (2025)

As of January 19, 2025, Disney has not announced a live-action adaptation of “Pocahontas.” Speculation arose from a fan-made trailer featuring Amber Midthunder as Pocahontas and Austin Butler as John Smith, which utilized deepfake technology to create a realistic portrayal.

Disney’s current live-action lineup includes:

“Snow White and the Seven Dwarves” (March 21, 2025)
“Moana” (July 10, 2026)

Additionally, a live-action “Lilo & Stitch” is in development, though its release date remains unannounced.
