Plot Summary:

He and Sallah retrieve it from a hidden Well of Souls, but the Nazis capture them and seize the Ark. Marion and Jones escape after a thrilling chase involving a Nazi convoy.

The climax takes place on a remote island where the Nazis plan to test the Ark’s powers. Jones attempts to intervene but is captured. During the Ark’s unveiling, its supernatural forces are unleashed, killing the Nazis and Belloq in a terrifying spectacle of divine wrath. Jones and Marion survive by closing their eyes, avoiding the Ark’s deadly power.

In the end, the Ark is secured by the U.S. government and stored in a vast warehouse, leaving its secrets shrouded in mystery.
